Service Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MVP Prints' 3D printing services.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully as they
establish the legal relationship between you and MVP Prints.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood,
and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Eligibility and Age Requirements
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order on your behalf and accept full responsibility for compliance with these Terms.
- Legal Capacity: By using our services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and comply with all applicable laws.
Orders and Payment
- Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of order placement. We accept all major credit cards and process payments through Helcim. All prices are in USD.
- Order Process: Orders can be submitted through our order form at mvpprints.com. Once we receive your order, we will send you an invoice for payment. Once payment is received, we will begin processing your order.
- File Requirements: Files must be in compatible formats (.STL, .OBJ, .3MF) and meet our quality standards. We reserve the right to reject files that do not meet our technical requirements or violate these Terms.
- File Review Process: All submitted files are subject to review before printing. We reserve the right to reject any file for any reason, including but not limited to technical limitations, prohibited content, or potential legal concerns.
- Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled before printing begins for a full refund. Once printing has started, cancellations are not possible.
- Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, including but not limited to violations of these Terms.
Prohibited Items and Content
Firearms and Weapons
We strictly prohibit the printing of:
- Firearms, firearm frames, receivers, or any firearm components
- Ammunition or ammunition components
- Weapons of any kind, including knives, brass knuckles, or other dangerous weapons
- Items that violate the Undetectable Firearms Act or similar laws
Illegal Items
We prohibit printing of any items that:
- Violate federal, state, or local laws
- Are intended for illegal activities
- Could cause harm to persons or property
- Circumvent security measures or enable unauthorized access
Intellectual Property: Items that infringe on copyrights, trademarks,
patents, or other intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited. We do not print
adult content or medical devices without proper certifications.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Customer Ownership: You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights to your submitted designs.
- License to MVP Prints: You grant MVP Prints a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your designs solely for fulfilling your order.
- Customer Warranties: You warrant that you own or have permission to use all submitted designs and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights.
- DMCA Compliance: We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, please contact us with a detailed notice.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold MVP Prints harmless from any claims related to intellectual property infringement of your submitted designs.
Printing and Delivery
- Turnaround Times: Estimated turnaround times are provided as guidelines only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to technical issues, material availability, high order volume, or force majeure events.
- Quality Standards: 3D printing is an inherently imperfect process. We strive for high quality, but minor imperfections, layer lines, or support marks may occur and are considered normal.
- Material Limitations: Printed objects have inherent material limitations including temperature sensitivity, UV degradation, and mechanical stress limits. Consider these limitations before ordering.
- Shipping: Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be provided during ordering. We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by shipping carriers after items leave our facility.
Returns and Refunds
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be issued for:
- Printing errors on our part
- Items damaged during shipping (with proof of damage)
- Orders cancelled before printing begins
Return Process: Returns must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
We will inspect returned items and notify you of refund approval or rejection.
Custom printed items cannot be returned unless damaged or printed incorrectly.
Safety and Use Disclaimers
Potential Hazards
3D printed objects may have sharp edges, small parts, or other potential hazards. Use all items at your own risk and with appropriate safety precautions.
Not Food Safe
Unless specifically stated, printed items are not food-safe and should not come into contact with food or beverages.
Age Appropriateness
Items may contain small parts not suitable for children under 3 years old. Adult supervision is recommended.
Limitation of Liability
- Liability Cap: MVP Prints' total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
- Disclaimer of Warranties: Services are provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Consequential Damages: MVP Prints is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, personal injury, or property damage.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold MVP Prints harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
Additional Terms
Privacy and Data Security
Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and store your personal information. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your submitted files.
Force Majeure
MVP Prints shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or supply chain disruptions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.
Changes to Terms
MVP Prints reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
